Directions via Car
Take the Roosevelt Island Bridge from 36th Avenue in Queens. Go down the ramp to Roosevelt Island and at the stop sign turn right (north) on Main Street. You will see The Octagon on your left in 1/3 miles.
Directions via Subway
Take the F train to the Roosevelt Island stop. Head north via the Red Bus (the bus stop is in front of the subway station and the cost is 25 cents) until it turns around at The Octagon. Find out when the Next Bus will be at the Subway or Octagon.
Weekend Express Shuttle Bus
To augment the Red Bus service, The Octagon runs a free Express Shuttle Bus on weekends to and from the Subway: Saturdays 10am to 9pm, and Sundays 10am to 6:30pm.
Directions via Tram
The Tram is undergoing modernization & upgrades and will be running again in September 2010.
